Sixth Sense Training is delighted to be working with our client, an insurance broker based in Glasgow South. Our client is seeking a trainee insurance broker clerk modern apprentice to assist them in their busy office.
Candidates job role will include:
. Using a bespoke quotation computer system for vehicle and household quotes
. Calling Clients with information/taking telephone calls and passing on information
. Speaking to Clients (face to face at the counter)
. Franking Machine for outgoing mail
. Stationery stocktaking
. Emailing and access to internet quote system
. Setting up Client files manually and electronically
. Office administration
. Word processing and Client accounts
. Processing debit payments
Candidates will be taught all aspects of general insurance and procedures as per the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).
Our client is looking for an enthusiastic, team player, keen to learn, problem-solving, not afraid to ask, smart appearance and excellent time management.
Your training will start with a 6-12 months apprenticeship, which consists of learning on the job, as well as our custom built E-Learning platform. You will develop all the skills you need to pass your work-based assessments. Our assessors are available to provide one-to-one support and will work with your line manager to ensure you settle into your new role.

35 hours per week
Mon-Fri 9am till 5pm with 1 hour break
