Sixth Sense Training are currently recruiting a modern apprentice to join our client’s ranks as a
budding web developer. If the thought of creating beautiful and effective websites for cool

Here’s what we imagine you’ll be like:
-Experience of (or a strong interest in developing) WordPress, HTML/CSS, PHP and general
-Knowledge of SEO
-A creative problem solver
-Strong organisational skills to multi-task within the constraints of timelines and budgets
-Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly and master diverse web
technologies and techniques.
-And here’s what you’d be getting up to:
-Get actively involved in the whole development process, from concept and design to building and
-Collaborate with our creative designers to align the build and visual design goals
-Learn to write well-designed, testable, efficient code by using best practice
-Create and maintain software documentation
-Carry out maintenance, updates, and upgrades as part of ongoing support agreements.
-Be responsible for expanding and scaling sites as required.
What skills will I learn?
Your training will start with a 6-12 months apprenticeship from Sixth Sense Training, which consists of learning on the job, as well as their custom-built E-Learning platform. You will benefit from the expertise of your employer as well as from industry standard training that we provide. You will develop all the skills you need to pass your work-based assessments. Our assessors are available to provide one-to-one support and will work with your line manager to ensure you settle into your new role.
You will gain an SVQ in admin or related subject, which is a Nationally recognised qualification and may be used to gain employment and further your career.
