Sixth Sense Training is currently seeking ambitious candidates (Age 16-24) to fill an IT Professional Apprenticeship we have located in Eurocentral (Located just off the M8 between Glasgow & Edinburgh). This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wishes to work in an I.T. environment and is looking to work for a well-established company in its field while being trained in a Level 3 Diploma in I.T. & Telecommunications SVQ.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

1. Monitor/Log Nimsoft Issues
o Restart Queues, Robots, Probes & Services
o Investigate alarm data where possible
o Meet target SLA for incident priority
2. Monitor/Log from Inbox
o Direct customer contact
o Confirm/Request further information where required
3. Answer/Log from Telephone
o Direct customer contact
o Confirm/Request further information where required
4. Investigate failed hardware and arrange replacements
o 2nd/3rd line to assist where further technical knowledge required
5. Liaise with Customer/Vendor as a single point of contact for any case.
6. Carry out and complete 1st line Operational Activities
7. Any other task required by Team Leader or Management Team, commensurate with the role

Skills required:

Potential candidates must be mature, willing to listen to instruction and follow them
carefully. Candidates must provide evidence of their ability to take on new challenges and tasks when presented with them while also using initiative to work on their own if needed. Willingness to take on challenges and to solve problems is a must, as is the desire to develop and progress your career

Your training will start with a 6-12 months apprenticeship, which consists of learning on the job, as well as our custom built E-Learning platform. You will develop all the skills you need to pass your work-based assessments. Our assessors are available to provide one-to-one support and will work with your line manager to ensure you settle into your new role.

You will gain a Diploma in ICT, which is a Nationally recognised qualification and may
be used to gain employment and further your career in IT.

***Please note all candidates must be 16-19 due to government apprenticeship funding and must be able to commute to Eurocentral every weekday. We welcome applicants from aged
